About Us

Selston Parish Council consists of 21 elected members, representing all parts of the parish and is headed by a Chair. Their contributions to parish life is entirely voluntary.

The Parish Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the Parish Council fulfils it’s legal obligations and does not act beyond its powers. The Council currently employs 3 office staff, namely a Clerk, an Assistant Clerk and an Admin Assistant.

Council meetings are generally held monthly, usually on the last Monday of every month. Members of the public are welcome to attend and anyone wishing to address the Council can do, on items that appear on the agenda. If you have any queries, please speak to the Clerk.
