Selston Parish Council
Selston Parish Council consists of 21 elected members representing all parts of the parish and headed by a Chairman and their contribution to parish life is entirely voluntary.
The Parish Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the Parish Council fulfills its legal obligations and does not act beyond its powers. The Council employs three office staff, namely a Clerk, an Assistant Clerk and a Responsible Finance Officer.
Council meetings are generally held monthly usually on the last Tuesday of every month at the Old Council Offices. Members of the public are welcome to attend and anyone wishing to address the Council can do so on any subject provided written notice is received by the Council.
